Customer Feedback

I contacted Friendly Fixers because I had an external upvc door with a failed locking system, clearly a matter of concern if you are unable to secure your house. As promised Lawrence arrived a few hours later and after dismantling the mechanism discovered the fault. Unfortunately the damaged unit could not be repaired and a replacement will take a few days to acquire. However, Lawrence went to a great deal of trouble to re-assemble the locking system and has been able to leave me with a door which is locked and secure, much to my relief. Again many thanks to Friendly Fixers, for a fast and efficient service.

Friendly Fixers certainly live up to their name!

Lawrence arrived with his associate promptly as agreed, he had telephoned me in advance to advise me that he was on his way.

I had a list of small jobs which required attention.

He replaced the tap in the kitchen, replaced small tube lighting above my worktops, re-fitted the toilet seat, sorted out a problem with a jammed metal plug in the basin and removed limescale and re-fitted a mixer tap above the bath. Although they were all relatively small tasks, they were carried out speedily and advice was offered where appropriate.

Lawrence and his colleague Russell, were polite, cheerful, and as a woman on my own, I felt safe in my own home. They even removed their shoes before coming in!

I would have no reservations recommending their comprehensive service to my friends. I am already considering calling them to carry out further work for me, as they proved to be reliable and gave me peace of mind.

Friendly Fixers will certainly be kept on speed dial. !Penny

Big thanks for today..and as requested...

Ahhhhh !!!! Radiators not working-the house is freezing and the sink is blocked!! Having only recently moved to the area it was a bit of a panic trying to find someone to fix our broken radiator and unblock our bathroom sink (I had dropped a cosmetic lid down there - the perfect size and shape to wedge it right in not allowing water to drain away!)

I looked on line and filled in a response form and Lawrence called me back, luckily for me he was in the area and came straight away. Lawrence was very professional, honest, very well presented, totally equipped, very friendly and eager to get the job done. He was a good, clean worker and obviously very knowledgeable and competent and as we chatted about my new house it became apparent he could help in so many other areas - I would not hesitate in recommending Friendly Fixers to anyone!! I just wish he had left more business cards for me to give out!

Im so happy with the work done and the cost was very reasonable too! It can be very awkward having strangers come into your home, but with Lawrence it was very comfortable and I felt very at ease while he got on with the job.

Thanks Friendly Fixers!!

Kate

Dear Lawrence

This is a Testimonial for Lawrence Du Pavey of Friendly Fixers Limited. I gave a referral to Lawrence at the Bournemouth Bay Chapter meeting on the 4th May to come and fix a problem with the roof on my property that was allowing birds to get into the attic and were waking myself and my wife up at dawn. He said he could come out that afternoon and true to his word he called at about midday to check that it was still OK to come out.

He arrived promptly, inspected the problem and took the trouble to photograph it so that I could see the issue without climbing ladders. He explained clearly how he would fix it, did the work there and then and photographed the finished result to show me what he had done. The name of his company describes perfectly not only what Lawrence does, fix problems, but perhaps more importantly how he does it, in a friendly manner. Before I met Lawrence I had been given a quote of several hundred pounds to fix the same problem in a very different way that I am sure would have been no more effective. Lawrence has fixed the problem and done so at a significantly lower price to myself, the customer.

Not only would I have no hesitation in recommending Lawrence to others, but I have asked him to quote for a different problem we identified in the course of this visit.

Yours sincerely

Chris
